RYAN KORELL is a musical theatre writer and composer based in both Chicago and New York. His work has been featured around the country, including Feinstein's/54 Below, the Spoleto Festival, and on adult contemporary radio. An alumnus of the Johnny Mercer Writers Colony, he has also been recognized as a Finalist for the MAC Wallowitch Awards and the Jonathan Larson Grants.

Notable projects include GAY CARD and THE DAWN OF EDEN (book and lyrics by Jonathan Keebler), GROUNDED (with Teresa Lotz), and LOVE IN NY (a web series by Matthew Russell and Sven Jähnert). He has also worked as a copyist and music assistant on Broadway shows and cast recordings (THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY, HONEYMOON IN VEGAS, THE LAST FIVE YEARS) as well as producer and music director on the GAY CARD Studio Cast Recording, available on iTunes and all major platforms.

Ryan holds an MFA in musical theatre writing from NYU Tisch and a Bachelor’s in music composition from Vanderbilt University. He is a proud member of ASCAP and the Dramatists Guild.
